I've played drums my whole life. All I can say is that it is a God given thing! I could play beats and grooves with my hands when I was 2 and it all just kept developing as I could reach the pedals and other drums. After High School I went on the road with the Jason Lovins Band. After that I traveled for a year playing for Austin's Bridge. And after that I was discovered on a session by Jason Crabb.
I played on the road with Jason Crabb for 4 years. Since then I've played on and co-produced Jason's The Song Lives On record as well as The Crabb Family's latest Together Again record. I play a lot of sessions and I also run my own production company Michael Shade Music.
Drumming and music have always been my passion. I love to see the way people can relate no matter where they are in life and whatever their going through.
I'm very excited to be a part of the Taye Drums family! Taye goes with me everywhere from live shows to the studio and I even have a GoKit got small shows and rehearsals. I currently have a Parasonic kit I use for sessions and shows. They're so Dope!!!
